How much is the deposit and is it refundable?
I require a 25% deposit to lock in your wedding date, and this is not refundable. The remaining amount is due two weeks before your wedding day.
How do you accept payment?
I accept Payment via bank deposit or PayPal, with PayPal I add on a 4.5% fee as they like to take a good chunk for themselves.
What kind of equipment do you shoot with and is it insured?
I use a Canon 5d Mark IV and a Canon 5d Mark III, and an assortment of Canon prime lenses. My go to’s are the 35mm and the 85mm lenses.
Does it cost to have you travel?
Yes, I need to cover my costs (see page 16), however, I am flexible and if Aunt Beatrice has a spare room near the wedding venue I am more than happy to get friendly with your family.
How many images can we expect?
This depends on the collection you book, for collection one you with receive 600+, collection two you will receive 500+ and with collection three you will receive 200+ images. All of these images will be delivered to you via a personal online gallery as well as a USB with low-resolution and high-resolution files.
Will you post photos of our wedding online?
I always post a small album of photos on Facebook a couple of days after your wedding. This is a wonderful way for me to display some of my recent work and also for your friends and family to see a selection of photos of your wedding. From time to time I will post a photo of your wedding on my Instagram, this is an important part of promoting my work. Some weddings will go on my website as a blog post, I curate an album of photos that highlight the most special parts of the day and post this on my blog with a few details about your wedding day.
What do we do if it’s raining on our wedding day?
I am all for wild weather, sometimes the best photos are created during rainy weather. On your wedding day, if it looks as though it might rain, have some umbrellas ready to go. I’ll also scout out some covered options, but I would encourage you to embrace the weather and have fun with it, make it a part of those precious memories of your wedding day!
Do we need a second shooter?
I am confident in photographing a full wedding day on my own. However, a second shooter will be able to photograph more of the details, guests and in-between moments that I may not get the chance to. If you don’t think you’ll need a second shooter the most important thing is to create a schedule for the day that allows enough time for photos, I can help with this so that you can focus on enjoying your day and I can keep an eye on the time.
How and when will we receive our images?
You will receive your full album 6-8 weeks from your wedding day via a personal online gallery which can be shared with family and friends. You will also receive a USB with your album a couple of weeks after the online gallery has been delivered.
